Welcome and thank you for your interest in Hinsdale/Oak Brook AAUW.  We are a group of educated and energetic women who come together for social contact, intellectual stimulation, and community outreach. 

 Since 1952 we have sponsored Hinsdale’s “original” Home Tour – an exciting opportunity to peek into many of the historic and beautiful homes in our area, while raising funds for our scholarship program.  Through this program, we support the formal education of women by offering scholarships to graduating female seniors from District 86 high schools, and adult women, many of whom are single moms returning to college. 

We also offer our members and the community informal opportunities for learning through our monthly programs and friendly small interest groups.  We believe that educated women enhance society at all levels, and that education is a life-long experience. 

As long-time members of AAUW, we have enjoyed meeting many wonderful women who have served as role models, mentors and friends.  We invite you to learn more about us by meeting us in person at any of our events.  Guests are always welcome.
