This is a group that loves the genre of film and all it has to offer. We watch ten films a year at Irene‘s house and discuss the film afterward. We focus on films written, directed and produced by women, but we are open to all films worthy of viewing and discussion. Popcorn is served, anything else you are welcome to bring along to share it with the rest.

This group fosters friendship and camaraderie through planning, cooking, and dining. Learn the essentials of entertaining with panache! The group rotates to each member‘s home over the year.
TUTORING PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN

This group tutors Kindergarten through 3rd grade at Anne M. Jeans School on 91st Street in Burr Ridge. The volunteers tutor the children byhelping them read baggy books, helping with Math, reading and science projects. It is a very rewarding project and the children appreciate the help.
